Superfood Healthy 7 Layer Dip

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight and drained
  • 1 large avocado
  • ¼ cup goji berries
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and chopped into 1-inch cubes (about 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • ¼ cup flax seed
  • 1 cup almond cream cheese (we used Kite Hill Cream Cheese)
  • 1 15oz can of chickpeas, rinsed, drained and pureed (we used Grandma’s Humus)


  1. Make avocado cashew puree and set aside
    • Raw cashews must soak for minimum 4 hours or overnight
    • Combine soaked cashews and avocado into food processor; pulse until smooth and creamy
  2. Make sweet potato puree and set aside
    • Peel, chop and boil sweet potatoes until tender. Drain and place in food processor alone – puree until smooth
  3. Assemble the dip
    • Spread mashed sweet potatoes in an even layer in an 8X8 clear baking dish (you want to use a clear dip to see the layers)
    • Add the flax seeds
    • lace the chickpeas/hummus puree on top of the flax seeds
    • Add the almond cream cheese on top of the hummus
    • Then add the chia seeds
    • Add in the avocado cashew puree
    • And top with goji berries and other elements to make decorative
